Because of the extreme cold weather expected this weekend, the Framingham History Center 3rd Grade Tour Anniversary Celebration event planned for Jan. 24th was been postponed a week to Jan. 31st.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the program that brings all Framingham Public Schools 3rd graders to visit the Framingham History Center. This program was started by Ed Convery, beloved Principal of McCarthy Elementary from 1969 to 1990.  The Framingham History Center is celebrating the legacy of this program by inviting all former 3rd graders (whether they were in 3rd grade in 1976 or 2025) to return to the History Center with their families for a free visit on Saturday, January 31th, from 2pm-4pm.  There will be family-friendly activities and exhibits, including the current exhibition Collective Journeys, about the history of immigration to Framingham.  Come see what has changed at FHC and what has stayed as you remember it!
