Your Voice Matters: Help Us Hire the Next Director of Belonging & School Culture
Dear FPS Community,
Framingham Public Schools is excited to announce that we are beginning the search for a new Director of Belonging and School Culture. This is a vital leadership role that will guide our efforts to ensure every student, family and staff member feels welcomed and supported in our district.
We want to make this a community-centered process, and invite you to be a part of it in two ways:
Interview Committee
We are forming an Interview Committee comprising staff, families and community members. This group will help us evaluate candidates during the interview process.
Application form:
Please Note: If chosen for the Interview Committee, you will also be asked to attend the Orientation and Question Development on Wednesday, October 15th from 8am to 3pm at 19 Flagg Drive. Interviews will be held during the day on Monday, October 27th and Tuesday, October 28th from 8am to 3pm at 19 Flagg Drive. All meetings are mandatory, and participants must stay for the entirety of the meeting. It is very important for us that we have diverse interview committees that celebrate and mirror the diversity of our students!
Community Survey and Focus Group
We have created a short survey to gather input on what qualities and priorities are most important for this role.
Take Survey
In addition to the survey, there will be an in-person Focus Group meeting on Tuesday, October 7th from 4pm to 5pm at the Farley Auditorium on 19 Flagg Drive.
Please note that the last day to submit both these forms is Monday, September 22.
Your voice is essential in this process. We hope you will consider applying to serve on the Interview Committee, completing the survey, or both. Together, we can ensure that our next leader reflects the values and hopes of our school community.
Thank you for your time and partnership.
